Supported Charities in 2024 from 2023 funds raised.

  • Be Centre – The training of therapists in a CPA accredited course “Parent Child Attachment Play” (PCAP) to assist in detecting early intervention of child mental health issues.
     
  • Central Coast Kids In Need – Funding to assist Central Coast families who have seriously ill children to assist them with accommodation and travel costs when they have to go to Sydney/Newcastle hospitals for specialised treatment.
     
  • Epilepsy Action – Purchase packs for the Ted-E-Bear Connection program to support families who have children suffering from Epilepsy.
     
  • Making Track Far West based in Broken Hill - Golden Stave provides funds for children aged 12-17 years old who have disengaged from society and involved in risky behaviour including contact with the justice system. The funds assist in training of improved life outcomes.
     
  • Miracle Babies Foundation – The purchase of NICU Survival Packs to Port Macquarie Hospital for families of premature and sick babies.
     
  • Morris Childen's Fund – Golden Stave provides funds for the Music Therapy Program for children with special needs at 8 schools and 2 hospitals in the St George and Sutherland shire areas of Sydney.
     
  • NCCG (National Centre for Childhood Grief) - funding for Adventure Camps for bereaved girls and boys who have recently lost a parent. The camps involve counselling programs, adventure activities and social connection.
     
  • NORO – GSF funds will assist in the purchase of musical instruments to assist children with autism for the Music Therapy programs at the Golden Stave NORO Music Therapy Centre at Kingswood NSW.
     
  • The Shepherd Centre – The grant funds will support the Acoustic Skills program for deaf children run by music therapists and speech pathologists to help deaf children improve heir communication skills.
     
  • The Burdekin Association - Funding of the Burdekin Well Being Adventure out-of-home care who support children who have experienced painful family dislocation and associated trauma. Golden Stave funds will help kids experience an adventure to make a difference to their daily living.
