The 32nd Annual Golden Stave Charity Lunch was held on Friday 25th June, at the Hordern Pavilion, Moore Park, Sydney. The Golden Stave Lunch has raised over $12 million of much needed money for children’s charities since the first lunch in 1979. The theme this year was "Angels & Demons", and many of the guests supported the theme and dressed in their favourite supernatural gear.
Tex Perkins brilliantly opened proceedings with his "Man In Black" show setting the scene for yet another special day. Bianca Dye and Shaun James took co MC roles and thanked all the loyal supporters for their support and welcomed special guests on behalf of the Foundation. Porcelain and then Catherine Britt gave great performances through the day with entertaining auction spots from Amanda & Jonesy, James Tobin & Maude Garrett and Kyle, Billy & Danny from Channel V with support from Mike Goldman.
The Hoodoo Gurus closed the day with a great set with the guests dancing up a storm and to end yet another successful Stave Lunch with a total of $460,000 raised for Children's Charities in NSW.
